Meet Olivia

Olivia Carone holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dietetics from McGill University, and is a member of the Ordre Professionel des Diététistes et Nutritionnistes (ODNQ) du Québec. During her studies, she interned in clinical settings such as CLSCs and hospitals, as well as private clinics specialized in sports nutrition and eating disorders.

Her passion for nutrition began with a passion for growing food. During her childhood, she spent her summers in a small agricultural town, where she helped her grandparents grow vegetables that were sold to specialty grocery stores. As she grew older, she became excited about sports nutrition as she started weight lifting. Finally, in the past 2 years, she has gained an interest for intuitive eating, a concept that helps you become the expert of your body and the signals it sends you. She is currently working on her Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor training in order to be even more well-equipped to help clients.

Whether you’re seeking help with your relationship with food, digestive problems, chronic disease management, sports nutrition or general health, Olivia – our eating disorder nutritionist will ensure that each client is individually evaluated and provided with well-researched, comprehensive and sustainable lifestyle behavior changes.

Our Approach

Everyone knows what he or she needs to eat and not eat in order to achieve a healthy weight. Yet, despite going through repeated diets, many people cannot seem to keep the weight off.

At our Eating Disorder Treatment Clinic, we do not put you on any diets. Instead, we dig into the real reasons why people overeat and have cravings, focusing more on changing your eating behaviour. In this way, you will be able to adopt a healthy LIFESTYLE, that is sustainable.

We are also firm believers that eating is a pleasure. Therefore, our focus is to help you build a healthy relationship with food by using the intuitive eating approach. With our help and support, we will alleviate you from the burden of always having to constantly think about food and to satisfy your eating preferences without guilt.

Our collaboration with psychologists specialized in eating disorders also allows us to give the best possible support and motivation system to our clients.  With our human and non-judgmental approach, we create a warm and compassionate place where our clients feel comfortable discussing their most difficult challenges with food.
